MetaGenius AI is a Shopify app that uses AI to write meta titles, descriptions and image alt text, audit and fix store SEO, add schema, and publish SEO blog posts for products, collections, blogs and pages in 15 languages.

It runs inside your Shopify admin, is billed through Shopify, and works in bulk or on autopilot. The Free plan includes 50 AI credits every month with no credit card; Starter ($9.99/month) and Pro ($29.99/month) add bulk tools, Autopilot and the AI Blog Post Writer. All 15 languages are available on every plan.

Hi, I'm Gautam, an indie maker from Ahmedabad, India, and a Shopify merchant since 2019.

I built MetaGenius AI because I was tired of writing meta tags for my own stores. Hundreds of products, five product pages a day, and a title-and-description grind nobody enjoys but every store needs.

So I trained an AI to do it the way I would, then kept building until it covered the whole job: audits, schema, 404 fixes, blog posts and autopilot. Today it's on the Shopify App Store for every merchant, not just me.

How the AI works

MetaGenius AI uses OpenAI's GPT models, the same family that powers ChatGPT. It writes from your existing product content (title, description, tags, vendor) and follows current SEO practice for length, keyword use and search intent. You pick one of 5 tone presets (Professional, Friendly, Luxury, Benefit-focused, and Storytelling) and can add your own brand rules as custom instructions.

Every generation goes through an edit-before-save preview with a Google SERP preview. Nothing is written back to your store until you click Save, and bulk runs can be reviewed before publishing.

No SEO tool can honestly promise specific rankings, and we don't. What MetaGenius AI promises is faster, more consistent, on-brand meta tags and fixes across your whole store.

How we handle your data

• Your store data is used only to power your SEO: generating tags, alt text, schema, audits and fixes.
• We never read customer or order data, never sell your data, and never use it to train public AI models.
• GDPR and CCPA aligned. Billing runs through Shopify; we never see your payment details.
• When you uninstall, the meta tags we wrote stay in your store and we delete your store data from our servers within 30 days (or sooner on request).
